BEADING
BEADED CUFF BRACELET
Good beginner beading class. Your packet will include everything to make your bracelet; even Swarovski crystals. $45 (3 hours)
BIRD NESTING BALLS (March-May classes)
You'll take the great things that birds love to build nest with and stuff it all into a 3" rattan ball. Complete it with hanger and tassel and beads. $25 (2 hours)
CIGAR BOXES
Bring your own box, or the Coop has plenty. Decorate the out side of your box for a memory box. If time allows, you can decorate the inside too. Lots of magazines, cool stuff and pictures to choose from to glue onto your box. You can even add feet and a great pull to open it. $35 (3 hours)
COLLAGE GREETING CARDS
This is a great way to make your own greeting cards. Make 6-8 cards from the Artist Trading Card packets, which has all the paper and embellishments you need. All you need to do is cut and paste. Choose from 10 pre-packaged theme card sets, add sparkles. Then attach your card to card stock and pick out colorful envelopes for mailing. $25 (2 hours)
FLOWER POUNDING
This is a late spring through early fall class. We'll be using flowers and leaves from my garden. You can bring some of your flowers along, just make sure they are not wilted. Bring ear plugs if you have sensitive ears. Once you learn this art you can transfer it to silk scarves, tee shirts, napkins, pillow cases, etc. These are some of the flowers that transfer extremely well: cosmos, libelia, coleus, coreopsis, viola, wax begonia, red clover, carrot tops, marigolds, pansy or viola, impatients. $25 (2 hours)
FUSED GLASS JEWELRY
Learn how to cut glass and use a grinder and ring saw to cut shapes. Choose from dichroic, transparent and opaque glass. Use frit, stringers, copper, decals or glass paper to embellish your pieces. You get to pick a coordinating necklace for each pendant you make.

HAPPY SCRAPPY DAY...
For past fused glass students ONLY.
From time to time the Coop will offer this open studio day to use up all the glass scrapes collected. Most will be solid and clear colors, not a lot of dichroic pieces. Pay by the card you fill ($30); card is bigger thatn class card. Frit, stringers and confetti will be added to the scrapes, and decals.
BE SURE TO WEAR CLOSED SHOES TO CLASS. PLEASE, NO SANDLES.
There is a special grinder for routing around your piece so you can wrap it with wire and create your own bail after firing.
HANGING YARD ART
You'll combine Jello molds, CDs, beads, stir sticks, wire and dozens of other junk to make a whimsical yard hanger. The base can be anything from a pan lid to a bucket. I have all the stuff for you to just wire it together. $25 (2 hours)
HATS
Did you ever feel like building a wild and wacky hat? Well here is your big chance... We'll have everything from feathers to netting, birds, fancy trim, rick rack, ribbon and lace to glue onto a hat. Just bring an old, wide-brimmed hat and you'll never believe it was the same hat by the time you leave class. $25 (2 hours)
JEWELRY MARBLING
By using a cup of water, nail polish and toothpicks you can marble a number of things to make jewelrey from. Go home with 3 or 4 different pieces that you will add charms and beads to and a lovely silky cord. $25 (2 hours)
JUNGLE BRACELETS
These bracelets are made from cardboard, bias tape, rick rack, string and beads. You can make 3 bracelets. Spray with Scotchguard when finished so they won't stain. $25 (2 hours)
SHARPIE DOLL
Return to your inner-child! You get to color this 14" muslin doll with all the Sharpie colors available. Use your imagination and design a wacky and wild being! The arms and legs are bendable. There are plenty of beads for embellishments. $30 (2 hours)
SHARPIES SCARF
Sharpie markers, rubbing alcohol and a silk scarf will make this class fast and easy fun. Learn what colors work great and how to bleed them. Dries in 20 minutes; hand washable.
$30 (2 hours)
PAPER ORNAMENTS
During this two hour class you will learn to make 2-3 different paper ornaments. You'll go home with with a bag full to deck your tree or give as gifts! $25 (2 hours)
QUILTED PIN/ORNAMENT
All fabric will be cut to size. You get to pick your favorite patterns and sew them together. Or choose a finshed background that requires no sewing -- you just iron on your patterns then embellish with buttons, beads and charms. Your finished pin will be 2 1/2" x 2". Heart pins measure 4" and requires no sewing, just embellishment. $25 (2 hours)
SAND DOLLAR ORNAMENT
Using various sea shells, beads, yarn, and a sand dollar; take silver, gold or copper leaf to embellish and create a one-of-a-kind ornament for your home this summer. Add copper tape to your sand dollar and learn to solder. $ 25
(2 hours) (Classes June-September)
SILK PAINTING
10" CIRCLE OR SQUARE
A good beginners class - choose from a 10" pre-screteched circle or square suitable for framing or a wall hanging. You will trace a pattern - I have dozens (or design your own) onto the silk with a rubber liquid, called gutta and then paint into your outlines with brilliant dye colors. You will learn how gutta flows and test several colors of gutta. Then, when you apply the dye you will learn how the dyes react to water and dryness. $35 (3 hr class limited to 6)
SILK SCARf 11" X 60"
This class is for students who feel comfortable with drawing or have done art projects before. You will have an 11" x 60" silk scarve to paint. Here again you will apply your pattern with gutta, then your dyes. You will learn how to stretch and then fix the colors on your silk and make some special effects. $45 (3 1/2 hr class limited to 4)
Remember, everything is supplied and a supply list will be handed out. I have plenty of designs and patterns for you to copy from.
STAMP MAKING
STICKY BACKED FOAM STAMPS
By cutting fun foam you can create the neatest and quickist stamps for notecards, invitations, gift bags...if it's flat you can stamp it. You'll go home with a bagfull of fantastic stamps and six note cards with envelopes. If you have farbric ink you can use your new stamps to dress up fabric or tee shirts. $25 (2 hours)
HOLIDAY STAMPS - Make tags, bags and christmas cards, add glitter, gold pen lines and be unique!
CARVING BLOCK STAMPS
You can carve up to 9" x 11" linolum block stamp and print it in class on our press; or cut that size up and make several smaller stamps. You'll be using stamp pads or ink and brayer to print after you carve and test. Fun to print on old maps and dictionary pages, which you can try in class. Print six note cards with envelopes. $45 (3 hours)
SUN DYING
This class is a sunshine day class only. You will learn what dye to use and how to use it to get the most fantastic patterns. During class you will complete two 11" x 60" scarves. We'll use grasses, leaves and flowers from the Coop yard. Limited to 6. $30 (2 hours)
TIN SURVIVAL KIT
This collaged tin will make a great survival gift box for someone special. The tin is 4" x 3" and ready to collage. Add Scrabble squares, charms and something special you bring to class. Then take it home and fill it with survival necessities, such as a PMS Survival Kit, Music Survival Kit, Doggie Fix Survival Kit, Chocolate Survial Kit; the possibilities are endless.
$35 (3 hours)
SEWING SURVIVAL KIT - CONTENTS JUST A SUGGESTION
2-D COLLAGE CANVAS
Use the front side of your canvas and add wonderful handmade paper, twigs, paint, decorative paper. Or choose the reverse side you can make a 3/4" indented dimentional scene with small objects; and I have plenty to pick from. You can even bring your own things to add. $45 (3 hours)

WILD WOMAN PIN
Fabric, yarn, and rick rack will make a wild woman to fit your personality. Plenty of charms and beads to add provided. This is a great craft for a girl party. $25 (2 hours)
WIRE NEST NECKLACE
You'll use lots of colored wire, pearls for eggs and then add yarn, maybe a word or two and several charms to make this one of your favorite necklaces. Silky cord included.
$25 (2 hours)
WOODEN ASSEMBLAGE
SMALL ASSEMBLAGE
Start with plywood board 5" x 9" and add anything from keys, baby blocks and Tinker Toys to clothepins, Scrabble blocks. Frame your piece with yard sticks. $35 (3 hours)
LARGE ASSEMBLAGE
The first class you will layout your pieces and frame your piece with yard sticks. The second class you will glue. I have plenty of do-dads to create a wonderful wall hanging. You may want to incorporate pieces of your own. Two sessions; two four hour classes $45 (8 hours).
WOOL FELTING
Using wool rovings, bamboo mats and netting with hot water and soap, you'll develope a wonderful art piece that can be hung or cut into another art piece. You'll have time to make an 8" x 10" flat piece and maybe some decorative balls to assemble into a bracelet or necklace if time allows.
$30 (2 hours)
